Hello! I can't believe it's the last day of July! This summer flew by at warp speed, and I am nervous, excited, and a bit bummed about going back to work... I really do love my job, and I'm grateful to have it, but the beginning of the school year is a little rough... I'm always stressed about all of the kids getting home okay, there are some that cry in the morning, I never know exactly what to say to the little guys the first day, etc... Once things start rollin' along, it's awesome! :) Anywho, today is another challenge at Krafty Girls! The challenge this week is: Get in Shape- create a shaped card. I love making shaped cards (and I know a lot of other crafters do too), so this is a fun one!
Carousel- soda cut at 5.82"
Joy's Life Stamps- Yummy Puns
Stickles- Christmas red
White gel pen
Twine
Okay everyone, head on over to Krafty Girls and "get in shape" with us! :)
Very cute....love all the stitching...it really pops it out!

Adorable shaped card Amy! I love the twine on the straw, your stitching looks amazing and the stickles is the added touch! Yes, the beginning of school is always hard both on the students and the teachers! lol But believe it or not, I miss the first day of school. lol Getting those Kindergarteners where they need to go, etc...But it doesn't take long and everyone is in a routine and it goes so soothly. Doesn't it amaze you how quickly everyone falls into that routine?!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute and what a great sentiment!
