Birthday Card for Dad!

Hello everyone, and Happy Friday!!!!  I'm so glad that the weekend is finally here!  The arrival of May has brought some pretty HOT weather our direction...  It was over 90 degrees today!  But the arrival of May also brings my dad's birthday!  Today is officially his day and grandma calls him her "little May basket".  I always thought that was cute!  :)  Dad loves getting a homemade card from me, so I went to town on creating this little ol' thing!  I have a harder time making masculine cards, but I'm pretty pleased with this one.  :)

Freshly Made Sketches- use the sketch, keep it fresh and clean
Seize the Birthday- birthday card, "extra toppings" create your own background
Through the Craft Room Door- Anything Goes

Jillibean Soup stamps- Birthday (sentiment and tag)
ColorBox ink- chestnut
Stamp n Stuff embossing powder- red tinsel
A la Mode sparkle embossing powder
Versamark Ink
Twine
Foam tape

Hope you enjoy!  Happy Birthday Dad!!!  :)

Awesome, your dad will cherish this card, for a number of reasons, but mostly because you made it with love for him! I love your background and you handled the whole masculine card with ease! Thanks for sharing at STB!

This is such a fabulous masculine card! I love the colors, and keeping it masculine but still fun and happy is not an easy feat, but you've done it! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
