Hangin' With My Peeps Card

Fantabulous Cricut post is HERE.

Joy's Life post is HERE.

Hello everyone!!!!  Today is another fun challenge over at Krafty Girls!  YAY!!!  The challenge this week is For Peep's Sake!- create a project for Easter.  I had so much fun making this card!!!  I love spring time (even though that means summer is approaching!)....  I love all of the cute spring decor items at the stores, the longer hours of daylight, planting my garden, and all of the little baby animals!  I think that little chicks are one of the cutest things on this planet!   They just scream "spring" to me!  I do not like them once they are grown up, though....  Roosters kind of freak me out a little bit...  Those claws are just too much!  I almost had a rooster run into my classroom one day, and I just know that he was enjoying watching me squirm!  Wow, I can't believe I just admitted all of that....  Okay, on to the card!  :)

A2 sized card
Create a Critter- chicks cut at 2.53", egg cut at 3.24", grass in front of egg cut at 1.24"
Simply Charmed- chick cut at 2.29"

Cuttlebug- swiss dots, mesh texture (The Paper Studio)

It is my design team week over at Fantabulous Cricut!!!  The challenge this week is #104- Out Like a Lamb: create a project that incorporates a gentle animal (such as a puppy, lamb, kitten, etc.)...  I was having the hardest time coming up with an idea for this one!  I don't know what was going on, but it was a major case of crafter's block!  Once the idea did pop into my head, I was so excited and I like how it turned out...  :)

Blog Hop Candy Winner!!!

Hello and happy Friday everyone!!!!  I am so glad that it's Friday!  The week after a vacation is always tough, then you add in two field trips, and things get really crazy!  I had a really good time with the kiddos on both field trips... I took 20 K-4 graders to McDonald's after the Poetry & Prose event (and trust me, you get some crazy looks walking in with that many kids lined up behind you like ducklings)!  :)  They were all so well behaved, and all of them scored "Superior"!  I am also excited that the Hunger Games movie is out!  Can't wait to go see that this weekend!  I also want to see the new Will Ferrell movie, but I just need to find someone to go with who is as equally twisted as I am (I'm actually quite sure I know a few people that fit that description)!  :)  Anywho, enough rambling here!

The winner of the St. Patrick's Day blog hop Michael's gift card is.....

#64- Maria!!!!!

Congratulations Maria!  I've already sent you an e-mail with more details!  Thanks to everyone who hopped along with us during the blog hop....  It was so much fun!  Look out for another blog hop in April, there will be more awesome ideas, and more giveaways!  :)  See you soon!

Bowling Fun & Giveaway Winner!!! :)

Hello and Happy Friday everyone!!!!!  Happy Dr. Seuss Day & TGIF!!!  My students and I had a fun day reading a lot of different Dr. Seuss books, and they were spoiled with some cool buttons, pencils, etc...  My sister, my friend Christy, and I also went to the afterschool program Talent Show today and it was so fun to watch our old students singing and dancing!  They are so much more brave than I am!  :)

I am so excited to announce the winner, winner chicken dinner from my giveaway, but first I wanted to share some fun bowling pictures from tonight!  I haven't been bowling in about 9 years, and my niece Chloe had never been at all, so....  My sister and I decided it was time to introduce her to the sport of bowling tonight!  We had a ton of fun, and I was pretty proud of my score... 133 (keep in mind there were bumpers on the lane, but I didn't really hit them much)!  I even got a couple of strikes!  There was a student from our school bowling next to us, so that was fun too!  We will definitely be back!  :)

Here I am....  Ready to get a strike!

My niece, ready to throw the ball for the first time!  :)

My sister and niece hamming it up for the camera!  :)

Action shot!  I think I was celebrating a strike! (I don't get those often)!

Chloe celebrating that she knocked down some pins!
