Shabby Chic Love Card

Hello everyone!  I had a really busy week, but it was fun so that's okay!  :)  Yesterday my students and I were given a pizza party for raising the most canned foods at our school.  We raised over 200 cans in my class alone!!!  I was so proud of them, and they were so excited about getting pizza (of course)!!!  Today I went shopping with my mom (we had a lot of fun), and we went to Hobby Lobby!  YAY!  I hadn't been in a while, so I was excited to get in there and buy some crafting stuff...  Anywho, this card is waaaay out of my comfort zone!  I usually make whimsical cards with bright colors, and this is the opposite of that!  I would use this card as a Valentine, wedding, or bridal shower card...  Hope you like my attempt at "shabby chic"....  :)

Pile it On- use lace
BBTB2- use a dimensional flower
Papercraft Star- Victorian
Shabby Tea Room- photo inspiration, use cream, white, silver, and a splash of pink

A2 sized card
George and Basic Shapes- flower cut three times at 2" to make rose (see how I made it here)
Cuttlebug- ornate flourish (The Paper Studio)
The Paper Studio- bling brads
Chipboard letters
Lace & ribbon

Okay, there it is!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!  :)

What a beautiful card Amy!! I love the rose and lace, your colors are wonderful!! Congrats to your class for bringing in so many cans of food!! I am glad that they enjoyed their cookout. We did the same thing at our school. We did "help out for a cook out". You would hear the kids singing that all day long! lol They would get a cookout with the principal in our secret garden. It was such a huge hit for both the students and the food pantry!
