Little Birdy Gift Card Holder

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to be here with another Krafty Girls challenge!  The challenge this week is: Birds of a Feather- create any paper craft with a bird theme.  I LOVE birds, so this was fun for me!  I also thought it was time to change things up a bit, so I made something other than a card...  I decided to make a gift card holder, since that seems to be what I always give to my family and friends these days!  Everybody loves gift cards...

Wedding- pillow box cut at 4.65"
3 Birds on Parade- bird cut at 1.82"
Cuttlebug- poteeka birds (The Paper Studio)
My Pink Stamper Stamps- Tweetie Hoo Puns
Joy's Life Stamps- Wintery Puns
Stickles- yellow

That's it!  Thanks for stopping by!!!!  Be sure to flock on over to Krafty Girls to enter the bird-themed challenge!  :)

Happy Bird-day Card

Hello!  I had a really good day yesterday just hanging out with some friends!  We were laughing so hard the entire day that my cheeks and stomach were hurting!  :)  My friend was driving and he flew over some speed bumps that we didn't see coming and I know we were airborn for a few seconds!!!!  It was so funny that we were all even laughing during the movie!  I'm laughing again right now!  We also went to the Cheesecake Factory, so how could I not have had a good time!  Anywho, here is a card that I made for the Joy's Life DT.  I love this sentiment, and I knew I wanted to use it for our birthday theme this week...

3 Birds on Parade- bird cut at 5"
Joy's Life Stamps- Wild Life Puns
Stickles- turquoise

Hope you enjoy my little birdie card!  Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!  :)

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I want to say thank you for all the kind words people were leaving about my paper roses tutorial...  It made me feel great, and you are all awesome!!!  :)  Anywho, today's card is a very whimsical/fantasy card.  I would definitely give this to one of my nieces, or perhaps someone who loves Disney because it just has a Disney feel to it....  I have really been wanting to go to Disneyland lately!!!  Oh man, now I'm thinking about it again....  :)

Bird Shaped Card

I really love birds, so I made this cute little birdie card!

This is an A2 sized card
3 Birds on Parade Cricut Cartridge- <Bird1> cut at 5"
Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls Embossing Folder
Sentiment: My Pink Stamper Stamp Set- Tweetie Hoo Puns
Stickles- turquoise
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist- dazzling diamonds
Prima Flower
Mini button brad (The Paper Studio)
Glossy Accents

On my Gypsy I copied the image of the bird, and then flipped it.  I then moved the copied image up until they were slightly overlapping, and welded the two images together to make the card base.  I stamped and embossed the light blue layer and then layered all the pieces.  I sprayed the entire thing with glimmer mist, added stickles, and a prima flower with a button brad.  I got those adorable brads at Hobby Lobby.  I covered the eyes, beak, and legs with Glossy Accents.

See ya later peeps!!!  Hee hee...
