Hello everyone! Thanks so much to all of the awesome friends who joined us for the It's a Party Blog Hop! There's still time to enter for a chance to win a Joy's Life stamp set of your choice. Just go to yesterday's post for more details. For today I have another Joy's Life DT project to share with you. The challenge this week was to make something for a graduation... Recently a family friend of mine graduated from college, and my niece, Chloe, is graduating from Kindergarten very soon! We only have a couple of school weeks left! I can't believe that I have to say goodbye to another bunch of students! Each year I think I will be able to say good-bye without getting emotional, but I just can't do it! It's bittersweet, that's for sure! :)

I don't know if I will be giving this to my friend, or to my niece... Hmmmm.... I think it could work for both, but I don't know! :) Here's a picture of me and my niece doing some gardening last week... She came over and helped me plant some flowers and then she spent the night... We had so much fun! :) I'm also excited that she is the top reader in Kindergarten, and she will be in my class next year! It's so special that I get to teach my niece!!!!

Graduation Card - Preschool :)
Well today was a very special day.... My niece, Chloe, graduated from preschool! :) I have to admit that during the ceremony I was getting a little teary eyed!!! It was very cute and she looked so grown up (oh here I go again with the misty eyes).... Anywho, I wanted to create a really special graduation card for her, so I whipped this little beauty up! I wanted the card to look "sophisticated", but it is for a 5 year old, so I wanted it to have that kid feel to it. She ended up loving it and that's all that really matters!!! :)
I am also going to enter this into a challenge.... Of course..... :)
365 Cards- Use one technique, one tool, and one embellishment that you are just crazy about on your card
(My favorite technique is embossing with my Cuttlebug, favorite tool is the Cricut, and favorite embellishment is Stickles)
