Fish You Were Here Card

Hello!  It's Tuesday, you know what that means...  Another Krafty Girls challenge!!!!  The challenge this week is:  Die Cuts- create any project, and incorporate a die cut.  I felt like this was almost an "anything goes" challenge because I use die cuts on everything I make!!!  When the sky's the limit, it's really tough for me to narrow down what I want to make.  When that happens to me, I just go to my stamp sets and start looking for a sentiment I want to use, then the ideas just start flowin'!  This card would be perfect to send to someone who you are missing...

A2 sized card
Zooballoo- waves cut at 1.35"
George and Basic Shapes- rectangle (welded to waves) 5.71"
Create a Critter- hearts cut at 7.47, 6.27, & 5.24"
Life is a Beach- fish cut at 3.94", seaweed cut at 4.88" (both are from the fishbowl cut)
Cuttlebug- sunshine impression plate (PaperTrey Ink)
Joy's Life Stamps- Wild Life Puns
Stickles- star dust, Christmas red, lime green
Glossy Accents
Googly eye
White gel pen (I hand wrote the word "love" onto the heart)

Thanks for stopping by!  I sure do "fish" that you'll stop by Krafty Girls and enter the challenge!  :)

Beach Birthday Shaker Card

Hello everyone!  This card was soooo fun to make!  It's my first attempt at making a shaker card.  The directions I followed can be found here.  This card is definitely making me want to go to the beach!  I also had a few Kenny Chesney songs playing in my brain while making this!
"No shoes, no shirt, no problems
Blues what blues hey I forgot 'em
The sun and the sand and a drink in my hand with no bottom
And no shoes, no shirt, and no problems"  :)   Ahhhh......

Woo hoo!  I love when Robyn a.k.a. The Pink Stamper does a challenge!  Her stamps are some of my favorites, and her challenges are fun!  :)  Today's challenge is to create a birthday project (click here to see the challenge), so I came up with something that I thought was fun.  The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie, so when I pictured this card it had to have Sebastian on it!  "Under the Sea" was playing in my head the entire time I was making this! :)

YourStory Notebook- Life is a Beach

I saw this machine (YourStory Photo) on mypinkstamper.com and I just had to try it out.  It was very inexpensive on hsn.com and it came with a bunch of the cardstock covers!  The covers in my bundle came in two sizes: 4 x 6 and 5 x 7.  They already have a glue strip running down the center, they are shimmery, and you can run them through your Cuttlebug.  The machine was really easy to use and I think this turned out really cute....

4 x 6 YourStory cardstock cover
Life is a Beach cartridge- chair cut at 3.25"
Cuttlebug peacock folder (from the Animal Prints set)
Papertrey Ink spring moss ribbon
