Sandal Shaped Card with a Cute Pooch!

Hey everyone!  I was having major internet problems yesterday and wasn't able to post anything!  :(  But today it seems to be working okay, so I can post this card I whipped up for some challenges....  Before I get to the card I want to thank Lisa- A Mermaid's Crafts and Lori- Lori's Artsy Obsession for giving me some blog awards!!!  These ladies are incredibly talented and sweet, you should check them out!  I was given the Stinkin' Cute Blog Award and the Best Friend Blogger Award!  :)  Thanks again, it made me feel very special!!! :)

Now onto the challenges:

Getting Cricky w/ K. Andrews- Simply Sunday Fashionista challenge (I think this pup's more fashionable than me)
Use it Tuesday- make something with an animal & use something from your scrappin' stash (I used a prima flower and some sequin ribbon)
Die Cuttin' Divas- summer theme
Cricut Cardz- include summer apparel
My Sheri Crafts- include a faithful & furry companion on your project
Paper Playtime- summer theme

Cricut cartridges used:
Life is a Beach- sandal (for card base) cut at 7.94" (this image has 2 sandals, so I hid one on my Gypsy), bathing suit cut at 1.47" (I had to cut it and piece it together to fit the dog's body)
Paisley- sunglasses cut at .76"
Create a Critter- dog cut at 2.65", purse cut at 1.82"
Cuttlebug- seeing spots
My Pink Stamper stamps- More Punny-licous
Peachy Keen Stamps- Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Face Assortment
Prima flower
Sequin ribbon (I adhered it with glue dots)
Martha Stewart fine glitter- sterling
Glossy Accents

I'm glad that my internet is working again!  I'm now off to check out some of the blogs I missed out on yesterday.... Thanks for stopping by! :)

Good day to you my friend. I needed to give you a quick note to express my thanks. I've been studying your blog for a month or so and have picked up quite a lot of good info as well as enjoyed the way in which you've setup your blog. I am attempting to setup my own blog but I feel it is too general. I want to focus more on specific topics. Being all things to all folks isn't all that it’s cracked up to be. Many thanks.
